Dicey Diner
Dicey Diner is a PC game that I am working on with Ty Bakken. I am making all of the art assets for the game and he is coding the entirety of it. It is a roguelike deckbuilding game where you have to cook meals for your customers at a 70s themed diner. However, these meals are created by the rolling of dice, each face having a certain ingredient on it. There are three in-game phases to each day: breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In between each of the three phases, the player has the option to go to the shop and buy new dice faces and customize their dice for the upcoming meal phase. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner each have their own individual challenges and the player needs to react accordingly. We are currently making a steam page for it and are fine tuning some things so that we will be able to release a demo shortly.
Ty and I presented our game at the MAGD Expo held by UWW in spring of 2026 and our game ended up placing second out of everyone there. Above is a short clip of a sever year old trying out the game; he ended up really enjoying it and asked when it was going to come out.
